My roommate, garybaldy posted this about our plight with the cable boxes. The goal here is to stop renting the cable boxes from the cable company. After speaking with Comcast last night, they still maintain that they "can't", not they "won't". Today I will be contacting Motorola to get documentation to present to Comcast. If all else fails, I will drop all of the digital programming from my service. The boxes do work for Analog cable, just not the digital channels. But it could. More on this later.
